About the Artist

Highly regarded artist Aryat Teregulov was born in Ufa, in Russia's Tatar region of Bashkortostan. Aryat Teregulov

Highly regarded artist Aryat Teregulov was born in Ufa, in Russia's Tatar region of Bashkortostan. From 1980 to 1985 he was a student at the state Pedagogical Institute of Baskortostan, Graphic Art Faculty. He then worked in groups of printmaking House of Art 'Cheluskinskaya', Moscow, Russia. A member of the Artists Union of Russia Since 1990, Aryat studied for a diploma at the Russian Academy of Arts andbecame an honoured artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2004. In 2012 his entry to design a mascot for the 6th International Children's Winter Games was chosen by the Bashkortostan Ministry for Youth Policy and Sport.
