Ivan Tarasyuk

Ivan Tarasyuk was born in 1957 in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg). He graduated from The Sverdlovsk Art College, and from the I. E. Repin Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture (Department of Graphic Arts, 1988). In 2012 the artist was awarded the honorary Russian Federation government distinction of “Distinguished Artist of the Russian Federation”.

Ivan Tarasyuk is a sculptor, a graphic artist, a painter, a master of decorative arts, and a circus artist. Since 1981 he has participated in various exhibitions (including over 60 solo ones).

The artist is the Associate Member of Greece-Marino International Academy of Fine Arts (Italy), the Awardee of International Van Dyck Prize 2007 (Italy), and the Holder of Medal and Honorary diploma of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, 2011.
